LUX MUNDI – ECUMENICAL CENTRE

LUX MUNDI was opened in 1973, since then it has grown into a Centre providing a friendly, caring environment for visitors and holidaymakers from several countries with the aim of responding to their needs.

If you need practical help we have for hire wheelchairs, crutches, sticks and walkers all at reasonable rates available for short or long-term periods

Every Tuesday and Thursday mornings the Centre has an extensive lending Library with English books. Membership is open to all. A Boutique with nearly new clothes is also open. And at the same time why not enjoy a cup of coffee with us at the Coffee Morning. Bric a Brac’s are held every fortnight on Thursday mornings.

Trips and Talks are organized regularly.

Religious Services are held in our Chapel and everyone is welcome to attend. The Roman Catholic Mass, in English, is celebrated every Sunday at 12 noon and The Church of Scotland [Presbyterian] holds a service every Sunday at 10.30am.
